Dealer Recovery Reward Program — Terms & Conditions
By participating in the TBTracer Dealer Recovery Reward Program ("Program"), you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility
- Only verified and approved TBTracer dealers in good standing are eligible.
- Individuals or businesses not registered with TBTracer are not eligible to receive recovery rewards.
2. Valid Recoveries Only
A recovery is valid only if the dealer:
- Identifies a watch flagged as stolen in the TBTracer database
- Has physical custody of the item
- Obtains and submits a copy of a police report filed prior to the recovery
- Coordinates with law enforcement to ensure the item is returned to the rightful owner
- Submits a complete recovery report through the TBTracer Dealer Portal
- Complies with any additional verification procedures (e.g. photo evidence, serial number confirmation)
3. Law Enforcement Involvement (Required)
- All recoveries must be formally documented with a police report filed prior to the watch being held or returned.
- TBTracer will not issue rewards for recoveries that:
- Lack verifiable police involvement
- Were not legally processed or recorded by a law enforcement agency
- TBTracer may verify involvement by contacting the reporting agency or requesting additional documentation.
- The dealer must actively cooperate with law enforcement and facilitate the return of the watch to its lawful owner through official procedures.
4. Reward Payouts
- The standard recovery reward is US$500, subject to the following:
- TBTracer may, at its sole discretion, issue the reward in cash, merchandise credit, or other in-kind value
- Rewards are issued only after full verification, including documentation from law enforcement
- Payouts may take up to 30 days from final approval
5. Anti-Abuse Policy
TBTracer reserves the right to deny payment and permanently disqualify any dealer from the program at our sole discretion, for any reason, with or without notice.
Common reasons for disqualification include (but are not limited to):
- Submitting falsified, staged, or misleading recovery reports
- Coordinating with third parties to "set up" recoveries
- Failing to file a valid police report before recovery
- Attempting to retain or dispose of stolen property without legal authority
- Exhibiting a pattern of suspicious, unverifiable, or unusually frequent recoveries
We take abuse seriously and may report fraudulent activity to law enforcement if warranted.
6. No Legal Transfer or Unlawful Possession
- This program does not authorize unlawful seizure or retention of any item.
- Dealers are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal laws regarding possession and transfer of stolen property.
- TBTracer is not responsible for the handling of physical items; the watch must be turned over to law enforcement or the rightful owner as directed by authorities.
7. Modification & Termination
TBTracer reserves the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or terminate this program at any time without notice
- Adjust the reward amount or payout method
- Make final eligibility determinations for any submitted report
8. Limitation of Liability
TBTracer is not liable for:
- Legal consequences of improper handling of stolen goods
- Any losses or damages incurred during recovery attempts
- Disputes between dealers, owners, or law enforcement
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
